02/10 - Just received my Notice of Allowance from the USPTO
04/10 - The USPTO sent out my Issue Notification. Looks like 5/11/10 is the magic date for the FPCVT Patent.
05/10 - US Patent #7,713,154 has been issued for the FPCVT. Here is a copy of the patent
Here are a few notes on the FPCVT to better understand how it works and some of the questions I have about it.
Here is an alternate sprocket geometry I think is better suited to for the current prototype.
Here is an mp4 showing the idea of seeking correct pitch, then locking to transmit power.
